i would like to learn zen too, the philosophy or way of life, its teachings, as well as meditation. i once tried practicing with the redempt group sa ila retreat place somewhere in busay, but no go. i think a zen master is important to guide you in meditation. i got in touch with a nun who practices zen, but she's in quezon city. she gave me a book

the child, i'm interested in your book. is it for sale? i have essays on zen by d.t. suzuki--i treasure it!

sorry. i already gave it away. "transmission of Light" by dogen, trans. thomas cleary. Its one of the three classics in zen literature, if im not mistaken. karon pa ko ka check ani nga board. you should have pm'ed me. i was serious when i meant im not interested in keeping it.

@iczyes: you really had me at "internal dialogue". i want to shut mine, too(all of them!). can you direct me to some place or some one where/whom i can learn these things from? im currently in cebu, but im trying to find work in manila. how different is it from yoga? or are they the same? i dont know anything about these stuffs, though im really interested. i could probably search it in the net, but social interaction(no matter how cyber) is best for me these days, i believe.
