Malls are placed here in our country to pull us downwards. Come to think of it, mas daghan malls, mas daghan ang kwarta nga mugawas sa Pinas. Naa man gani jobs but people are paid in minimum wages...haiz..typically, our officials should be innovative in bringing our country to progress. If we try to encourage our own people to start being entrepreneurs then in the future, we will be able to compete with the global market. We might have internationally well-known Filipino brands just like our neighboring countries in Asia. If only our government officials do not settle on the short-term goals but rather lengthen their perspectives to what may happen even after they move out of office. They are too concerned with their own selfish indulgences and are focused on what they get rather than what the people may benefit. They tend to forget the real reason why they are called government officials. But then, we can't control everything there is. I encourage everyone to set your money in the right places. Invest and start your own small unique business..para in the future, pinoy brands will be all over the world to compete and be renowned. ^_^

It doesn't matter kung chinese siya or filipino. He started everything here in the Philippines with almost nothing. Look at his humble beginnings. He became the richest man in the Philippines through an honest, legitimate business. Unlike sa uban diha (ehem politicians, drug lords, etc. nganu, wa sad diay na sila nidato?) Instead ug cge mo reklamo..maypa mo-learn nalang mo sa iyang kaagi. If nakaya niya..makaya sad nimo. We build our own destiny jud. Bahala nag gidimalas, go lang gihapon. Or mas better, pagtukod mo ug inyong mall!!!!!!!!

some comments on this thread just shows the negativity and crab mentality of filipinos jud. mao na walay ansenso.
