if you want you can repartition your harddisk then format it.

but if you really want to erase,
ZERO-FILL the harddrive... if youre using a SEAGATE harddrive there is a utility i think from their website that cud reliably erase every bits of informations from the platter. Just google it...

use disk manager softwares. Like the one from seagate where you can literally erase every data from the HDD. Its the zero-fill procedure. once done, your HDD seems fresh as new. No data inside.
Disadvantage? It will take long hours to complete the zero-fill process.

pwede ko ba ni buhaton on both my master and slave hdd? asa nako kuhaon na nga sopwer? ang ako master kay 40gb exelstor man gud ang ako slave kay 120 gb seagate hinoon.
