That's just to cover up their insecurities and imperfections.

Everybody has an accent; Irish, British, English, Southern Americans, Black Americans, Chinese, Filipinos, etc.. you name it. So what is there to laugh about?

In case they don't know, they mispronounce a whole lotta words as well.

Ive noticed in most of the noontime shows,movies they always make fun of bisaya esp kung masayop cla ug pronounce sa word they will say right away bisaya ka? they think bisaya are dumb? walay diction?if theres a contestant whos trying to speak tagalog they will they will make fun of him/her...kay ang bisaya gahi kuno kau mo english....duh!
how about them? are they perfect?
