hehehe, yup, dako ang difference, but ma-distinguish lang ang ila difference if greater than 720p ang resolution sa monitor. naa ko DVD-ROM sa intel diri, The Living Sea, 1080p man ni then VC1 ang format, ako gi-convert to 720p to see the difference. aw syempre, mas detailed ang 1080p (obviously) compared sa 720p, sa 1920x1080 nga monitor.

I play both, 1080p and 720p, on my 12' screen, and do not see much of a difference... 720p is absolutely fine.

try ko ug xvid HD nga 300 720p AC3 2.8gb ra ang size... para nako pareho ra quality ang xvid HD and mkv
ang difference lang kay ang subtitles... kinsa pa naka suway ug xvid HD dinha? makakita ba mo diff sa video/audio quality bet mkv and xvid HD?

try lang dl ug xvid HD kay murag half ra sa size sa mkv, pero murag gamay ra ma-dl ug xvid HD format

clarifying this misconception:

xvid - video codec
mkv - container

so di nimo makumpara ang duha.

if magdownload ka para lang makakita, go for files with decent video. If i archive na man lang gani na nimo, derecho-a na lang DL ang nindot, bahala nag dako ang size.

compressing a video file (like xvid and h264 encoded video files) won't help much in reducing its file size. if mangita man gani ka movie, don't go for movies nga gi-chop2x into smaller zip or rar files, go for the file nga single lang.

i agree. naa man na table on how far your eyes can perceive detail, taking into account, the viewing distance and the pixel size.

but applicable lang ni kung pareho mo nako na 20/20 ang vision. hehe. if not, samot wala na jud makita na difference.
