E5300 if your tight on the budget bro. And if you overclock E5300 to E7400's stock clock speed at 2.8GHz, di ra kaau nimo mabantayan ang difference sa performance..but, you need to know na mas energy efficient ang core2duo lineup. however, i can't really quantify the savings you might get but just so you know

btw, i have an E7400 proc with an Asus P5KPL-AM/PS mobo...if you pair E5300(w/ 13 multiplier) and P5KPL-AM/PS saun ra jud kaau i-overclock bisag first time pa nimo.
