nahibung lng sad ko na f la pa d i nla na perfect ang Fermi..ngano ngpagawas pa mn jd ghapon clag fake na card..f ila nalang d i unta g announce na la pa nhuman ila i introduce na card..paka uwaw lng cla..
If this is true, I can help NVIDIA by telling them not to maximize or boost their memory controllers especially those
implemented GDDR5. Performance as we all know is very significant when it comes to Brand. But they
should also consider the side effects that it delivers since as far as i can observe DDR3 & above memories
are very much sensitive and their LATENCIES are very hard to deal with.
Good reputation comes from 'Quality and Performance'. But what is 'Performance' when the 'Quality' itself
degrades because of massive engineering failures?
BTW, i'm an NVIDIA fan for 10 years, i didn't expect that this incident would happened.
They can cope up by maximizing 'Quality' and if they are 99.9% efficient, they can proceed by optimizing it
little by little, step by step, until they perfected the product's 'Performance'.
Lack of 'Frames per second' by a small gap if being competed by other brand is not a serious issue.
That is why i don't see any problem on ATI.
Just my 2 cents.
Best Regards,
Nvidia Fan
Btw, this is my very first post since March 2007, believe it or not?![]()
Nvidia: We're Staying in the Chipset Business - Tom's Hardware
We've received a number of inquiries recently about NVIDIA's chipset (MCP) business. We'd like to set the record straight on current and future NVIDIA chipset activity.
On Intel platforms, the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M/ION brands have enjoyed significant sales, as well as critical success. Customers including Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Acer, ASUS and others are continuing to incorporate GeForce 9400M and ION products in their current designs. There are many customers that have plans to use ION or GeForce 9400M chipsets for upcoming designs, as well.
On AMD platforms, we continue to sell a higher quantity of chipsets than AMD itself. MCP61-based platforms continue to be extremely well positioned in the entry CPU segments where AMD CPUs are most competitive vs. Intel
We will continue to innovate integrated solutions for Intel’s FSB architecture. We firmly believe that this market has a long healthy life ahead. But because of Intel’s improper claims to customers and the market that we aren’t licensed to the new DMI bus and its unfair business tactics, it is effectively impossible for us to market chipsets for future CPUs. So, until we resolve this matter in court next year, we’ll postpone further chipset investments for Intel DMI CPUs.
Despite Intel's actions, we have innovative products that we are excited to introduce to the market in the months ahead. We know these products will bring with them some amazing breakthroughs that will surprise the industry, just as GeForce 9400M and ION have shaken up the industry this year.
We expect our MCP business for both Intel and AMD to be strong well into the future.
grabeha sa intel..
well. i believe this is inevitable. it was planned already, as what i've read before.in a whitepaper where intel is talking about the success of the Conroe chip against AMD and the ticktack strategy
intel is talking about big companies to be conquered in their own turf.
samsung : ongoing - in the SSD market
IBM : pawned - IBM Motorolla processor for the MAC
intel is developing the IA64 ItaniumII Multicore chip, developed also against SUN processor
AMD : pawned - processor segment..read more if u think otherwise
Nvidia : ongoing - MCH | fushion chips " intel would not be needing nvidia in the VERY near future"..
ATI : have eluded - kudos! intel is very much interested in buying ATI, na unhan sa AMD..
intel 80core chip using ATI RingBus memory architecture
i forgot the others

really - Charlie Demerjian Is A Douchebag
this guy has no credibility whatsoever. he hates NVIDIA and all his articles is biased.
Look at how he writes article about ATI and if you read NVIDIA, all he does is bashing nvidia.
most of is articles are wishful thinking on how he loves Nvidia to fall down and later will say "i told you so"
He was fired from TheInquirer probably because of his misleading/no truth articles.
he cant even provide a reliable source except saying "just reliable source".
for all i know, it's just him.
this rumor was first posted in theinquirer.net but was pulled off, charlie then resigns and posted it on his website.
SemiAccurate :: Nvidia tries to sell itself
Spoiler!
He probably forgot to report - AMD is actually having financial problem (top 20 probability of bancrupty)
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD): Third Quarter Earnings Preview 2009
In the last four quarterly reporting periods, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc's (NYSE:AMD: 5.51, -0.03) actual earnings significantly fell short of the market's consensus forecast. In fact the company is yet to break even for the last eleven quarters (after including restructuring charges, one-time acquisition costs, integration costs and impairment charges for its acquisition of graphics chip company ATI Technologies).
Analysts estimates for the quarter ending September 2009 (Q3) range from a low of $-0.58 to a high of $-0.21, with a consensus of $-0.423. I don't see any positive development that developed in the last quarter for the company to break even and spring a positive surprise to the investors. In fact, the problem is so acute, three weeks ago, the perennial No. 2 to Intel ended up on a list among the top 20 U.S. corporations with the highest probability of declaring bankruptcy within the next 12 months.
Charlie cant post anything bad about ATI, he loves ATI.
this was always his stunt to generate a lot of attention.

A Message from NVIDIA on Recent False Claims
...kunu. nang ambition man gud dako heheeh
lets just wait and see.. its not like the world is coming to an end. lol
"The way its meant to be faked"
Blocked vents and Wood Screws anyone?Fermi was a faked
Nvidia's director of product PR - Luciano Alibrandi, has admitted that the card showed by Jen-Hsun Huang at GTC 2009 was indeed a fake, with nothing under the heatsink and parts missing. He said "The Fermi board that was held up at the keynote and press conference was an engineering prototype." The working cards are a bit of a mess at the moment, it has wires dangling from it, so not a pretty sight for the consumer. However, the fake, prototype, mockup or whatever you want to call it, isn't that pretty either.
