i think this is based on the patriarchal society which exist decades ago also as the saying goes, "man is polygamous in nature". ana jud na marih! kebs nalang sa mga ipangsulti sa tao! hehe.. anyway, why follow that act man pud?.

most species have one male living with many females in their "society".
Except sa mga insects that lives in their "hives".
Para nako,
it has something to do with the "survival of the tribe".
Kung usa ka babae unya daghan ang lalaki sa usa ka tribe,
limited ang growth sa maong tribe.
Pero kung daghan ang babae sa usa ka lalaki sulod sa usa ka tribe,
mas dali modaghan ang iyang tribe.
So kung mag-gubat ang duha ka tribe,
Asa man sa duha ang mosurvive?
