most new cars are already fitted with HID headlamps. they are more efficient, consume less power, and last longer compared to ordinary tungsten-halogen bulbs/HL. however di lang kaayu obvious kay 4.3K ang iyang color temp, thus the yellowish hue, same as the ordinary stock bulbs. most aftermarket HID fitted right now are on the 6K - 8K color temp (white to bluish hue) para mas obvious na it's really a HID. the problem is the aim is not adjusted as to minimize the glare, especially that studies show HID are 40% more glaring than the tungsten-halogen headlamps.
kung dakpon mo ug traffic police tungod sa HID, ask him why and find-out if unsa na color temp ang allowable. most likely wala sad sila kahibaw ani. LTO regulations permit HID on the 4.3K color temp.
