so would it be safe to assume that Zeus probably created the universe? or Athena? the Nymphs? the River Gods? or probably some kind of God out there who is unknown to man? if we follow your argument that we should not discount the question of WHO, then it should be wrong to limit ourselves to the concept of GOD the Almighty ONLY.
ummm so dili na diay theory ang evolution nahimo naman na siya ng fact... proven and tested naman...
so mahimo na siyang scientific law?
magsamok-samok lang ko diri...then ato na ning ibutang sa science na thread...
kay mag-istorya lang ta ug muu-muu ug kapre...![]()
That is a WHO question that was already answered . There is no need of relating it to a god whom the theist acknowledges as God . To start , its GREEK MYTHOLOGY and we all know what it is literature wise . As much as bible is concern , it is also a piece of LITERATURE but then all the 5 W's doesnt have a certain answer for it on an athiest point of view but one thing for sure , God existed if we reflect on the arguments of St. Thomas Aquinas and the logical thinking of St. Augustine .
I dont know if anyone else shares the same sentiments I have that CREATION and EVOLUTION should co- exist .

OT: guys, don't believe what our "scientist" have to say. this is clearly a direct insult to Filipinos. this 50 year old man loves to think highly of himself because what, he's an American and a "scientist" as what he says he is? pathetic. for the record James, the Philippines DOES NOT produce 14 scientist and engineers per every one million population. be careful with your statements and make sure you get your facts straight before you even begin typing. i know A LOT of Filipino scientists and engineers and the number is not even close to 14.![]()
It could sound like that but mind you that by SCIENTIFICALLY INCLINED alone doesnt hold the truth either and is reciprocal to the BIBLICAL BELIEF we observe . For one who will have the truth and share a conclusion , both works in a systematic and a " magical " way .
Take note also ... a FACT doesnt mean or equate being the TRUTH .
Have you ever thought of how SCIENTIST came up with a notion to start asking questions about life's beginnings ? One way or the other , the basis for it was from the literal understanding of the creation . What are the chances of the investigation if , IF the bible never existed and still considering CREATION is still the TRUTH for the sake of the discussion between theist and atheist . Would there be any case studies conducted as early as Charles Darwin's ? I am pretty sure there is none because to start , EVOLUTION was based on an occurence that based from nothing and by chance .
On a different picture , I would take it back . Indeed what Brownprose said that the topic is MOOT and ACADEMIC is indeed true ! CREATION already provided the story and its EVOLUTION turn to prove that CREATION is not only a fact but the truth also . It may sound twisted but the theist are already contented of the story and nothing is wrong with that . The weight lies on the evolutionist / scientist because all that came up are only discoveries and theories it doesnt hold the truth until it can connect the dot . Bisan pila pa na ka facts i proclaim .

truth can be subjective and relative. what is truth to you may not be truth to me and vice versa. however, on the other side of the spectrum, to say that FACTS do not equate TRUTH does not make sense since truth is the conformity to fact and/or actuality. when a fact is established it becomes the truth. however, when there are no facts to back up the claims, then it is not the general accepted truth, ergo, it becomes your own personal truth.
IMO, the weight lies on creationists... we have evidence and they do not. all they have is FAITH. faith can sometimes make a logical person illogical sometimes---so they have to prove their stand that God created everything and defend that notion---and so far i can tell, they've been ineffective at that.
