Filipino is not Tagalog, though most of the words came from tagalog... Gamay lang ang bisaya nga ako nahibal-an... like... kawatan, utot.. ambot unsa pa ila iapil from bisaya.

We don't necessarily have to eradicate shows like these but we have to improve at the very least. Let's face it, it's part of some people's life. I don't really watch these shows but not all of us have cable nga pwede ta kapili unsa matan-aw. Kadaghanan kay GMA and ABS-CBN rajud tawon ang kapilian and some people do get entertained by these teleseryes, escapism nalang pud siguro so we can't take that away from them. BUT I do agree that something needs to be done with the news programs! Very commercial (but well yeah it sells so very profit-oriented, asa naman ang public service ana?). Makalagot lang jud kung di man Bias reporting, always negative man sad, or over sensationalized ang issues..wala jud balance reporting.

I don't really like those telenovelas and noontime shows that's why I don't watch them
pero usahay makakita jud ka ana nga mga show labi nag way lain or naa ka sa lain balay
    di jud na malikayan.

but then again, if you don't like to watch it then turn off your TV. Simple as that.

So in short, walay hinungdan ang Philippine TV. Hinoon most filipinos ka afford man ug cable pareha ninyo. hilasa ninyo oi. Aw ayaw na lang mo ug comment kay cable TV man diay inyong TV. kamoy dili angay mo-comment. Kasabaot mo? !!! Naa man diay moy cable. Pastilan.

first and foremost... these channels are there to make money. these type of shows bring in the masses which entices the sponsors to buy ad placement on these shows.

Unsa man diay nang shows sa TV dili diay tinagalog? For so many years we have been dominated by these tagalogs, and now did we prosper? Run like hell by the tagalogs!
