Technically, almost all ignition systems today are with negative high voltage output. That spark jump we produce on our spark plug is high voltage "negative" polarity and it will jump on the negative ground electrode of lower potential. Energy will travel from higher potential to a lower potential. To suppress the noise during the spark, you should have better grounding technique on your engine block. A solid copper wire with a solid coil in line from your engine block to a solid grounding path to the negative battery terminal will suppress that spark noise while improving the ground path to the negative battery.

nindot pud na side gapping da. i hope naay effect sa aku makina. nangita ko BCP5ES nga plugs pero lisod kau pangitaon. kung naa man gani, local pa jud. nag gamit na lang ko BP6ES kay mao man ipagamit sa aku manual. mitsu lancer 91 4G15A EFI ang makina diay. researched sa net and they said BP6ES is non resistorized pud daw.
kabantay lang pud ko nga cge itom gikan carbon deposits aku plugs unya dako2 pud kaon sa gasolina. timing setting was 10 degrees unya kabantay lang ko grabe pud baho sa gasolina. had its timing changed from a mechanic to 5 dgrees kay mao may naka butang instruction sa makina. so far ok cya. ang baho nawala pero in the process pako check sa fuel consumption ani. question naku is ok pa kaha ni ang timing nga 5 degrees as stated sa instruction even though almost 20 years na aku makina?
Nindot mag tuning kung imong agdon ang imong makina for the current fuel nga imong gigamit. Paminawa ang andar sa makina while setting the ignition timing. You can't use the recommended settings stated on the manuals kay lahi nga fuel ang ilang gigamit kaniadto ug sa imong gigamit karon ug lahi na pud ang imong makina karon kompara niadtong bag-o pa sya. Tune the engine sa setting nga maayo ang iyang andar ug mas makaginhawa sya ug maayo, kanang wala pud bunol at different rpm. Sa ing-ana nga paagi, maayo ang response inig drive nimo.
update ko lang spark plug side gappping sa ako makina...mao ni ako naobserbahan upon testing,mas dali pag start,nikusog ang throtle response,pino na kaayo og mura hilom ang idle..again,la ko nag encourage na buhaton ni ninyo,ni share lang ko sa ako na experience..daghan salamat..
Thank you for sharing.We have similar observation, that means di lang tsamba ang nahimo nga effect when I tested it for you have replicated it. Logical man pud, with side gapping, walay nag ali sa initial flame. Mas direct ang exposure sa spark with the rest of the fuel-air mixture.
unsa gamit ninyu pag putol para side gapping? nindot ni tripan karn dayoff da. hehehe
dia pay klaro gamay na pamaagi sa side gapping..
