Part of business is the investment. If you sell more pizza at the end of the day you will pay off your investment and make profit. There is the possibility of more people buying 1 slice than people buying 1whole pizza. Selling more pizza at the end of the day.

Your pizza oven needs to be hot when making pizza, so throwing in a slice to heat it up is not that hard. You already own the oven. Or just buy a small electric oven to heat up slices.

I disagree that it is better to buy a whole box of pizza when all I want is 1 slice. What about people who don't have refrigerator, like tourists. Cebu is being coming more popular with tourists, and maybe all they want is 1 slice. They don't have a refrig because they live in a hotel.

You make 1 pie and cut it into 8 slices. When you start to get down low of slices you make another. Serve on wax paper to save of costs.

I see sometimes places that are full of people, all the little stores selling food are busy EXCEPT the pizza places. I think everyone likes pizza, but they don't want to wait 20 mins for it to be made. Maybe they don't want or can't afford a whole pizza.

Instead of saying " Sorry Sir not available" or "Sorry Sir can Not" .. start saying.. "Yes Sir one slice coming up !"

All I want is a slice of pizza.. I am having a melt down !

for local pizzas, most if not all of their customers are filipinos. filipinos love to seat down and eat and take their time. selling pizzas by the slice is not a bad idea but it takes one to start the trend. these local pizza places are just waiting for someone to try it first to see if it will work and then slowly they'll be joining the bandwagon.

Not all Filipinos want to take their time when it comes to eating. Filipinos that like to go to BBQ's don't want to wait 20 mins for their food. At the BBQS have all the dishes set out and we can choose what we want. There are a few Pizza places at the new BBQs, but they don't seem to last long because no one wants to wait.

Every one should start telling the local pizza places to sell by the slice. Maybe the local pizza places haven't figured it out yet.

Of course selling by the slice works. If it works for the multi national pizza chains.. it will work for the local pizza places. All they have to do is copy the system.

sorry late reply. but yeah so far its good, its not exactly as big as your typical new york slice. If ur familiar with maguikay (which is in mandaue), the store is basically in front of good year service center. can't miss it its the only pizza place there. oh and try to be the first customer when getting the slices coz they dont make it until someone orders so if ur the first one then ur pizza is the freshest as can be.

if you're the first customer then you still have to wait for them to make it. maybe it's better to be the second customer.
