I read somewhere that Chuck P. is gay. Not that it matters, truly it doesn't but it did make me wonder how his sexuality affected (if it did) the way he wrote his fiction.

Amy Hempel!! Seriously guys, if you like Chuck, you'll love Amy.
Chuck Pahlaniuk's transgressive short paragraphed narratives are borrowed from Amy Hempel, as much as Hempel owed much from the Gordon Lish school of minimalism.
there was a "Collected Stories" ni Hempel sa FullyBooked but someone bought it recently. now i wonder who she is, and i really want to meet her and shake her hands.
