regnauld, i'm sure you really enjoyed this book since it's "the secret" as the inspiration written all over it.

quite frankly, dan brown's books are starting to be more predictable. There's always this pattern gyud:
robert langdon (or another hero in earlier books)
a girl
a weirdo villain with some form of twisted tastes (silas (da vinci code), the hitman (angels & demons), hulahoot (digital fortress)) that always starts off as the mastermind but we are then shown that they are not the ones calling the shots.
a mastermind that is just under their noses.
