its only between 60-70k, intel centrino. pentium m, 512ddr, 40gbhdd,128 intel egraphics, firewire, usb,combo drive etc...

You can buy a decent Compaq below 50K. Dell notbooks I think are a little more expensive. There are also a lot of "generic" brands out there that should compete with specs and price. But when it comes to durability, I'd prefer an IBM Thinkpad. I've got a Dell and a Thinkpad, and I know the Thinkpad is a lot more sturdy and durable. If you'll only need a laptop for doing officework, paperwork, reports, and not into intense gaming and/or graphics, I would suggest you consider getting a brand new Thinkpad, with the lowest prices at under 40K (brand new).

for me, toshiba. i have a toshiba and it's been with me since 2000, still no problems. ako sad brother toshiba sad, 4 years na niya, still going strong.

yes toshiba is a good brand. i used to have that toshiba 17" bai grabe kadako ug bug at pero sulit siya labi na kun mag gaming naka.64mb ra gud to pero musukol ug generals zero hour bisan 5 hrs o sobra pa.

i would say you buy a unit na dili na bug at ug dual core gyud.centrino is droppng its prices busa kung naa ka naayunan kaniadto na models na naka centrino now is the time nga mopalit naka.pero if your after of speed pag dual core na.get also kana true bright na.lahi gyud iya difference kaysa mga daan na laptop.

i hope this one helps.by the way i shifted na karon sa hp, ako lang try iya performance compared to toshiba pero so far disappointed ko sa dvd screen display nila,dili ko ka full screen.ahehehe

para maka-barato ka bai... try to think kong asa nimo gamiton ang imo laptop.. kay kong office works lang imo gamit... useless kong magpalit ka ug tag-as ug specs nya ofice lang ang gamitan...
