Nice! good job OC'ing bro and on air too... how much did you spend for the xp90c? doesn't come with a fan right? what are your temps at that speed?

I read this review, the Tt Big Typhoon performed just as well as the xp90c... might be a good alternative considering the price.

    Test: 25 CPU coolers - http://www.behardware.com/articles/5...u-coolers.html

yeah, i heard the Big Water has a bad performance... at least this is a second actual review i got from a local user... i guess we gotta stay away from this product hehe.

hmmnn.. you have to consider its on "water" so maintenance is something to look for.
like checking if there is enough colling liquid.
    enough or right mixture.
    leaks.
    pump and bleed.
gawd,.. thats a pain in the a$$.

thats why i keep away from water.

on how much xp90c check newegg.com i bought it there(as most of the hardwares that i have).
yes, it doesnt come with a fan. im using thermal take smart case fan so i can control the fan speen iva collermaster muskeeter front panel. its supposed to be 90mm fan though but my next batch of gadgets from newegg is still a month away so i used a locally available fan. its actually borrowed from a friend since its a modded version of smart case fan. thanks to @lunch of istorya as well.

also if you will use xp90c on 775 you have to buy that 755 retainer as well. cost 5 bucks in newegg too.

on this oc'ed PD820 i idle @45c and 100% both cores loaded @71C(with S&M since dual prime95 cant pull my cpu load to 100% on both cores.)
can say really the xp90c performs well knowing the PD are extremely HEAT PLANTS
take note, im using the stock thermal paste that came from thermalright xp90-c and didnt used artic silver so i assume that if its using arctic silver the more conduction of heat be done(lower cpu temp).

    OT:

nope it doesnt. it needs an address to that is covered by their services. u.s. and puerto rico.
i got a newegg account. ship to the postal add of my bro in n.y. then n.y. to phils.
sometimes, clients instead of paying via paypal just ask them to buy the stuff in my wishlist in newegg and have them shipped here in ph.

FOREX or the balik-bayan box size only cost 100 bucks. but takes one month to 1.5 month to reach cebu. no more custom taxes. its covered.

for smaller items like rams, it can be shipped via fedex for around 45 bucks to 55 depends(document rate).

if you want mid end items available in PH. go to TPC. they have nice items there that can be considered in the mid-end class.

xp-90 are available there btw. just check around.

Seems that this CPU is performing well...

Wat really discourages me from this processor is power consumption.. here is a part of the article from anandtech posted by StyM

Looking at the long-term prospects, power costs money, so how long will it be before the lower power X2 3800+ reaches the break-even point? If we go with a typical $.10 per kWHr, the X2 3800+ consumes 37W less at idle and 48W less at full load. If that seems like a lot of power initially, it actually only works out to $32-$42 per year, running both systems 24/7. That means you're looking at a minimum of four years to reach equivalence in price+power. What about the 920 versus 805 power costs? The difference there is even less in terms of power use, so even at full load you're looking at $16 per year, or seven years to reach the break-even point.
