this is what i dont like about certain so-called "Christian" groups.. because of an attachment to such dogmas, then a prejudice arises..

then, any religious organization seeks to maintain its political structure, and these "alternate" understanding is like a threat to their organization.. a threat that has the potential to diminish the members of its group. Theosophy does not really care about the numbers of its group membership..

an entity will only attack if it feels threatened..

That is expected already especially if one is studying ESOTERIC WISDOM. Some people like Christians don't really know and understand about MYSTICISM and OCCULT SCIENCE. They just make harsh judgment without even attempting to investigate what the SEEKERS are actually studying. There is no EVIL PRACTICES involved. We are just there to STUDY as what Jesus said, SEEK and YOU SHALL FIND. In Seeking, we are constantly studying and reflecting.

In theosophy, there 3 general practices that we choose to do:

1. Study and Reflection (Philosophy, Science and Comparative Religion), 2. Silence and Meditation 3. Service to Humanity!

Frankly I'll tell you, I think I'm being judgmental without really my intention...you see when people talks about occult and mysticism the first thing that will come-up into my mind is what we tend to see in the movie about 'occult and mysticism' themes, dark and scary with some spooky symbols being prop up here in there in the scene hehehe holywoodistic kaayo...

Mysticism is so simple and yet so profound because it needs a lot of SILENCE and MEDITATION. Nothing evil here. We can only know GOD in SILENCE as what the Psalms says, "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD."
