how to improve experience Index? Specs Posted

my problem is that my computer starts up and shuts down a bit slow. my friend says it's cause am running vista, so it eats up more ram. but after checking the Windows Experience Index(WEI), RAM seems to be running smoothly and quite well I might add....
the dilemma being...what should I upgrade? This is a laptop, HP 6710b.

unfortunately, there is nothing you can upgrade since your in a mobile computer and your lowest rating is coming from your onboard video card...

No matter how much you upgrade your ram or your HDD, nothing will change on your WEI.

mao, if this is a PC then dali ra e improve imung windows experience

as to the slow start up of your pc, what your friend say is not totally true, because 2GB of RAM is spacious enough for vista. Open your start up programs and you can omit what you dont need to run at start up.

also, defragment your HDD

obviously, the performance stays the same.
