regarding sa ratings game, mega manila talaga tinitingnan ng mga investor at advertisers. say may ad for a product, but that product is nt available sa ibang place, bkt pa kelangan mag.survey dun? some products are nt meant for nationwide distribution. even pa, knti lang effect nun. mega manila has all the infrastructures and logistics to make these products within arms reach. and yes, marami tao na may tv set sa mega manila. if lumabas nga sa survey ng agb na mataas rating ng gma7, ok un sa syete, same if di sila mataas. if mandaraya pa gma7 sa ratings, bkt pa nila babayaran ang agb, which is a respectable firm in their line of business, when gma7 can just make their executives talk to the public na mataas rating nla? bkt kelangan na lumabas number 1 syete sa both agb at tns? i dnt see any relevance kasi magkaiba ang approach ng 2 sa pag.cnduct ng survey. di naman ata mgkasama 2 tns at agb agent para mag.survey sa isang bahay, so results would differ.

rating is use to gauge feasibility of investments. mayaman tlaga dos, marami silang biznes eh.

did i say all of the artists? i said "MGA" artista hindi lahat. better read between the lines. and the salary of the artists would also be related to the ratings of the station because f the station is number 1 of course talent fees would be higher compared to those who are below, same as companies, if your company is big or lets say number 1 in that field then expected salary would be higher than those who are below the ranking. and besides this is a question, how come mas malalaki sahud ng mga artista sa dos than gma, lets try to compare marian which is their primetime biggest start compared to jud anne santos or bea alonso, lets compare joey or vic to willie? who else? i hope u get my point here. the question doesnt rely on salary but also on awards, if a station is number 1 in ratings how come mas madaming awards ang ABS CBN when in fact mas maraming nanonood sa GMA based on AGB - MegaManila ONLY. do you think salary and awards has something to do with ratings or viewers?

yes, TNS and AGB results would differ why? because AGB focused on MegaManila ONLY, while TNS 50% home panels in MegaManila and the other 50% are other areas ng Pilipinas... hope you get the difference between the two.

just want to add there's no agent here or a person who conducts the survey but its a software installed on their TV set, as for AGB Nielsen Media Research a technician will visits families that agree to become members of the panel and installs a peoplemeter on all the TV sets in the home. Full support - 24 hours a day - is provided to the family. so no agents just a software.

yeah, remembered that my cousin was part of that survey thing where a sort of receiver was installed on the tv set. by the way, about salary, you cant compare joey, vic, and willie. i dnt knw abt willie, but joey and vic are not part of gma7 artist center and eb is nt owned by gma7 as well, its a per block agreement. we however cannot conclude that salaries of abs stars are bigger, lest we have figures to prove otherwise, 'til then, that talk is the same as any other hoax. and i dont see any relevance to salary and ratings. gma7 has good cba with their employees, we dont know how much these stars are really receiving. if malaki, bakit may lipatan. from dos to 7, and vice.versa? juday and marian will have different salary as well depending on how their managers deal with the station. di rin natin masasabi na maliit salary ni marian. actually, ot na to from the thread. balik sa rating, pag mag.survey at ma.include kami, abs would have greater score as i dont really like primetime lineup of gma7 right now.

haven't u noticed that artists na lumilipat from DOS to GMA ay yun medyo laos na? while those artists who transferred from GMA to DOS ay yung medyo sikat or sisikat pa with bigger talent fee offers or di kaya a big break? tapos nag iimprove yung artista pag nasa DOS na? thats my observation.

well, i could say compensation of an artist and awards of a tv station would have something to do with the ratings being the number 1 station in the Philippines. how could a tv station rank number 1 in ratings when it doesn't grab most of the awards in some groups or organizations?

about sa lipatan, laos o hindi, from dos to gma7 man, may rason kung bakit at sure me both station offered higher rate and outlined projects. bkt kp lilipat if di ok ang offer? like robin padilla na bumalik sa dos kc may project sa dun. pasikat pa lang pala si robin or the other way around? in general sense, mahirap mg.artista lalo na sa panahon na to. dpat marunong gumamit ng utak at di pairalin emosyon. at ung mga palipat.lipat, dahil may offer sila, di sila mg.buot na mubalhin sila as is. anu ba awards? like kbp golden dove? di tlaga mkakapasok syete dun, ng.widraw na sila ng support dun eh. for me, kahit pa mgka.awards, di rin relevant sa ratings, kasi awards are given and decided by a certain group of people only. di yan gaya nakukuha sa text voting or viewers pulse.

kahit pa mgka.comment tau d2 ng wlang katapusan, ala rin mangyayari. about ratings man to. why not post a new thread for sure mas marami input. ratings are numbers reported by the company assigned to perform such task. kung anu andun sa numbers, un na un. both stations are performing well, may ratings, may agb, may tns, may advertisers. yan ung mga bagay na transparent. kasi kung uungkatin natin bkt lumipat mga artista from where they were working, ibang usapan na un at wla taung concrete details for that. again sa awards, award giving body un, u dnt get best actress thru text votes. the judges decides regardless if kumita ang show o hindi.
