Let's not exercise selective nostalgia here. Erap was just plain corrupt. That's why he got kicked out. Not because people looked down on his lack of educational attainment. And why didn't he finish college anyway? Not because his family was poor and they couldn't afford it. He came from a very well-heeled clan. So he didn't go to school because it was his choice.

We're now hearing (once again) about the 'unusual' circumstances that surrounded the PLDT sale to Manny Pangilinan's group. Billion-peso commissions paid out. Intimidation of existing stock holders to force them to sell out. There was also the BW Resources stock price manipulation scandal that nearly caused the collapse of the Philippine Stock Exchange. How about the Erap Muslim Youth Foundation? That's where his kickbacks would go, not to the underprivileged Muslim youth. Or the infamous Erap housing program? You know, the one where he built palatial homes for his many mistresses?

its his word against their diba? who knows what the real story... sometimes what we read and see on the paper and the tv is not really true or only half of what is the truth... id like to hear the whole story.. really before i make my judgement... we must remember that there are personal interest at stakes here... conflicting interests...

corrupt naman talaga si erap... sino ba hindi? si cory? asus! cojuanco yan..

As some soldiers call him, "Utak Pulbura".
my dad is a ret. AFP ISG pa unit, actually many from them like erap especially sa iya gibuhat with MIndanao.. kita kadaghanan sa mga taga mindanao na officers ganahn ni erap like Querubin.. if you're an officer na veteran sa MIndanao taas gyud lantaw sa imo sa service oi...

and there are many utak pulbura talaga sa army.. akong papa masgamay ranggo pero siya mag tudlo sa iya mga senior officer on how to their job..

Whatever prompted the revelation, the fact was Erap still received the jueteng kickbacks which is patently illegal. The reason why they wanted to move into Bingo 2-Ball was to legitimize gambling and then boost their take. Under the sham of a management contract with PAGCOR, Bingo 2-Ball would be run by Erap's drinking buddy, the sleazeball extraordinaire Atong Ang. Asa man padulong ang kuwarta kung dili kang Erap?
hahahaha.. the point is naa na tax.. asa man padulong ang tax? better legal than not diba? at least kahit papaano meron cut para sa gobeyerno.. see mawawala man ang parte ni Singson kaya ang loko nagsumbong...

Ang masa sige ra man magpa ilad anang "Erap para sa mahirap" tagline. Mao nang walay asenso kay they expect a president to be their knight in shining armor and ride in and rescue them from the clutches of poverty. They should wake up and realize they need to exercise self-rescue first because no president is going to do everything for everyone.

In the early days of the Erap presidency he set up an "action center" in Malacanang, where poor people could go to have their needs addressed. You know, like children flocking to a department store Santa Claus. What happened? People flocked to it alright. Gidumog ug maayo. Naay nag heart attack. Unya nag tud-turay mga tao unya nag riot. Erap ended up putting a stop to it. Not a very bright idea after all.

And Erap liked the good life. He had a taste for the expensive stuff. Petrus wine, which can easily go for over a P100,000 a bottle, flowing like water in his Midnight Cabinet meetings. A typical Erap party would make PGMA's New York dinners seem like a trip to Jollibee.
Under Erap there was this distinct feeling that he was running the country into the ground. The country was slowly being taken over by his hoodlum midnight cabinet buddies and there was really no one at the wheel except a drunk *****. We had an idiot for a president and it really showed. It should be "Erap para mahihirapan."

And Chiz was his defender. Yuck.[/QUOTE]

yup corrupt naman si erap la namn question dyan... pero sino ba ang dili gibiyaan siya ug naghihingalo na economy ni FVR... mind you it was supposed to be a tiger economy... i was still in manila back then and ang usap-usapan there was actually nothing left in the kaban ng bayan... ang fort boni tininda na ni fvr asan man ang halin? even the lots granted to soldiers were taken from them... kanang mga building di ay dinha naa man sya share ana... the term tiger economy muning economy diay...

yup jollibee... unsa man diya nang issue sa SAL ni MIkey Arroyo.. not to mention sa mga unang pang Issue about IGGy and iyang i invoke my right to remain silent... how about sa lavish spending ni GMA kung naa siya sa official trips that even many OFW noticed.. ang lot na gibaligya for more than its worth?

ang sayop lang ni erap he was not discreet about his actions.. kana maka sulit gyud ko bogo-a niya oi...

in relation to CHiz.. ano namn ngayon kung kakampi siya ni erap? there must be somethig sa prinsipyo ni erap na ganahan si chiz... hindi namn kasama sa midnight cabinet si chiz...

an erap ally but at least hindi puppet... unlike neri and the rest sa gabinete ni GMA...
