if you use the studio maggamit man gyud ug kuryente. unless inyo ang studio libre gyud.

to simplify things: pila ang total magasto sa limpyo na nga usa (1) ka song .... recording/editing/mixing/miscellaneous pila kaha total estimate?

bro depedne ra gyud na sa inyo. kung magrecord mo make sure nga prepare gyud mo. meaning you know the song well gyud. kay imbes nga mo 5 takes, 50 takes ky dili sure sa songs.

drums is the most complicated while recording kay 1st siya nga i-record. kung off ang drums the whole recording will be ruin. make sure nga on beat gyud ta. practice na lang daan ug metronum.

for normal recording it would run 3-5hours per song.
professional recording 5-8hrs per instruments. drums, guitars and bass, keys, vocals, harmony, etc.

RECORDING:

1. recording (laying down the instruments)
2. mixing/editing - editing the song. to make sure every instruments and vox are ok. flawless!
3. mastering - final mix for mass production. leveling the gain etc.

i've done a lot of research and i heard that there's a recording studio who makes you a video while you record your song and sort of makes a simple music video for the artists..You also have the option to make "live recording" for demo's so you wont have to pay a really big amout. I think Live recording would only cost you 700PhP for the first hour and 500 succeeding hours. this comes with a music video in DVD or in VCD format. its up to the artist. oh, and the good thing about Live recording is, you dont always reach an hour.. you can record upto 3 songs if your good. hehe! if your intrested, let me know so i can send you the info about the studio. im still tryin to look it up though.. oh, and the sound engineer is someone who has worked with the bands like sugar hiccup, wolfgang, parokya ni edgar.. etc.. in the states. pero filipino sya. The studio also produces albums kuno at a flat rate. depende sa sabot. This includes recording, mixing and mastering... good thing also is you dont have to worry much about the time consumption because package deal naman. they also mass produce CD's with covers etc.. Kinda intresting too.. basta, if i find the studio, ill let you know incase your intrested.

in recording ayaw worry how much the cost, its simply expressing the talents that you have kay worry ka sa bill dili ka karecord. no one will hear your songs. ana gyud na bro costy ang recording, but hearing the song youve recorded will free your worries hehe express your abilities in music
