then buy something that you really need like 24-70mm 2.8L perhaps?

- cheaper price
- hd movie
- lighter weight
- low noise performer (but not as w/ D90 or D5000)
- need better lens to maximize its potential

50D:
- 6.3fps
- magnesium body
- pentaprism
- lcd at top
- 'some' says its quite noisy (as in tabi-an)

both same mpx, same cmos aps-c, same 9 af points, same lcd

50D - categorized as semi-pro
500D - categorized as mid-ranged


you should be weighing up instead(unless you dont like nikons):

500D and D5000
50D and D300


note: tried a 500d and its hell amazing. seen a 50d and its hell amazing as well. to conclude, both cameras are great lipsticks in each of their categories. get either you can afford!

buy the camera na suitable sa imu budget bro.heheh.. if your budget is for 500d then go for 500d its a bomb...heheh then invest more on lens na dayun.heheh

just keep your camera, sell your sigma lens and buy the best lens you can possibly buy. you wont regret it.
