.. i see. thanks for enlightening me. But, why didn't you question the way things are run in simala ?? When they started selling those religious stuff, why didn't you complain Their biggest scapegoat was, for the building and construction of the church. Damn, why make such a lavish church

.. and what are they planning to do with the 20 million in the bank and the whopping 30 million in their vault ?? And why the heck are they saving the money for They should have built an orphanage instead or a school. They should have used the money in more community oriented ways not saving it.

Because it's what really is happening and will always be... I agree with you when you said that "Religion is business". And I'm not the one who can make a change with regards to this business...

.. religion ( whatever religion it is ) is a good thing coz it unites people BUT, when it involves money, people should take a second look at their religion or their leaders and ASK, to why use religion to make money.

.. back to simala, they have two or three sets of candles. One is 5 pesos for not so big requests, 20 pesos for the super big requests. God has a price now ??

Also, theres a local publication called "lungsoranon" distributed in the local populace which allegedly warns the residents of Bro. Pauls actions. This publication was allegedly signed by Vidal himself.

Based on this, I guess this legal action (exact legal basis wasnt made clear) was what caused him to come out... then ang media ra iyang madaganan.

Ang lawyer man kuno nga ni file ug legal action niya, the lawyer atong Fr. Martin happens to be the lawyer ni Vidal.

Please correct me if I am wrong on this... pero mao toy akong understanding sa radio interview.
