Manny Villar vs Noynoy Aquino ?

Noynoy Aquino's achievements are superficial if not overrated. If one will look at his achievements at the senate website, it will not be uplifting to read his background. More so, if you will research on the bills which he has authored, I don't think the quantity will give him an edge because they are not too many. More importantly, the quality of the bills he authored does not seem to reflect that he purportedly want to serve the people.

If I may say, his candidacy is not appropriate at the moment. He still has to prove to all that he can be a public servant first before he can be proud of his political lineage. If not for being an Aquino, he would not be as popular as he may seem to be right now.

Still Villar for me. I don't think he'll have as many political debts to pay as Noynoy would should he win.

Noynoy may very well be clean and uncorrupt, but where have we heard that before about politicians.. they said the same thing about Richard Gordon and Subic, until the dirt hit the fan and the stench started to spread far and wide.

What I am really interested in is concrete details. He has about half a year pa to clarify and solidify his platform. At first, I was totally against this guy, because he seems to much like his mother. But in the end I realized that it is not fair to judge the son according to the actions of the mother. And on the contrary, I strongly urge his blind supporters to examine their hearts and determine if the only reason they support him is because they like Cory. That is the other side of the coin.

Now he says a lot of things about corruption, and how he hates it. He is rumored to be infatuated with sayings and cheap quotes like "justice delayed is justice denied." Now, I could not agree more with that saying, but what I want to know is.. what specifically is he going to do as President to change our justice system? If he encounters resistance at the Senate, or worse, at the Supreme Court, what is his Plan B? Does he even have a Plan A? Can he please show, how he will succeed where his mother has failed in reforming our filthy, outdated justice system? It's not as though he can merely click his heels and all of a sudden the BOGO judges, especially some of those who are at the highest level (Supreme Court) would just die of heart attack and disappear!

He also mentioned going after Imelda Marcos and PGMA. OK great, so I guess he will be replacing the insufferable Merceditas Guittierez (sp?) ? Again, I would love for this to become a reality, Senator Noynoy, pray tell how exactly are you going to go about it? I guess this is related to my curiousness as to his plans for judicial reform as I am a firm believer that our justice system (and those who run it) is one of the roots of the many evils that plague this country...

So please Noynoy and fans, I am SOLD on the ad-libs and cheap sayings.. they are nice. So now the important bits.. DETAILS. Make the cheap sayings a reality.. sometimes the small things matter a lot!

Mao jud ni ang rason ngano kuyawan ko aning Villar. Just recall how he manipulate the events to his own good. From ERAP impeachment into allying with ERAP later on in 2004.

it's not the act that makes it bad. if i remember from a bible verse, a woman slept with her father since sila naman lang mga last sa jew/israelites (not sure, hehehe correct me). para mo sanay sila nakig dulog ang babaye sa iyang papa unya namabdos siya. hangtod nanaghan sila.

let's look at the logic of the situation. a bad instance isn't that bad at all kung atong tan-awon. and besides if you want to beat them, join them. ingon ana giud nang politics. easy for us to say kay wala man gud ta ka suway ana. ug naka suway man kay barangay level ra siguro...

in the issue of corruption, i'ts everywhere. pero ug mang corrupt man siguro sila well, i think tagaan pod nato sila ug gamay siguro. ang CEO gani kay mga 200k ang sweldo, how much more mo manage ka'g millions of people? di lalim oi. ok ra mang corrupt if it means we get to experience the good, quality life then ok ra. ug wla kay ma dawdaw sa leader, aw mao nay maka ingon kang way ayo...

this time, we need all sort of kilatis sa atong mga candidates.
