new LAN cards don't need cross over cable anymore..
pwede ra straight..

been using this for quite some time now.. since 2006

especially with our thesis, file sharing, internet sharing, etc..

pasabot ni stealthghost sis nga pwede ra magpalit ka UTP cable then straight iya pagka-crimp. pwede na bitaw straight thru ang cable as long as gigabit ethernet ang LAN card nga imo gamiton. but if nahan ka mogamit internet, and let's say naa ka 2 PCs then use a straight thru UTP cable then connect nimo diretso sa imo router if naa man gani extra ports ang imo router. if dili na masulod sa number of ports sa imo router ang imo PCs, buy a switch para daghan2x ka port nga masaksakan then plug the switch to your router.

and naay mga cable didto daghan sa fastwin if mag lisod kag pangita.. and wala na d.i oso ron ang crossover cable.? sa pc to pc nga direct connection?

hehehe, niuso na man gud ang gigabit LAN nga built-in sa mga mobo bro so mas hayahay na kay pwede ra straight gamiton kung pc-to-pc nga connection.

palit ug utp cable specify ang lenght, then palit rj-45 , pag pa crimp nlng dayon (both ends) sa tech sa gipalitan nimu na computer shop, free ra man siguro na.heheh
