gusto ka nga mo-overachieve? kelangan ka mag naning. Wa kay lain buhaton kung di magtuon. Mao nay gitawag og focus. Balik-balikon nimog basa imong subject unya mag-practice pa jud ka.

Kasagaran sa mga dagkog grades sa school kay mga naning na nga tao because it is their passion to get high grades and be recognized as "intelligent" people. In other words, HARD WORK ang nagpadako sa ila grades. It does not imply nga if dagko kag grado "bright" ka daghan nay nailad ani. hehe. Pero getting good grades takes appropriate talent also kay bisan unsaon nimog tuon if average rakag pangutok di jud ka kakuha nga ma summ cum laude ka. Mao na ang akong opening statement is "gusto ka mo-overachieve?" kay most are just average when it comes to natural intelligence. Pareho ra gud nag basketball player bisan unsaon pag paningkamot sa usa ka putot nga tao mamaayog basketball di jud siya maka-parehas ka maayo sa usa ka 6-footer kay the latter has natural advantages.

In closing, try and find out if you have the talent, ability, and most importantly the will to get what you desire. Only one way to do it and it is to try it with hard work by giving it your all.

    R: Reconsider/reflect/relay

    • Reconsider the content:
If I could speak to the author, what questions would I ask or what criticism would I offer?
    • Reflect on the material:
How can I apply this material to what I am interested in?
    • Relay understanding:
How would I make this information interesting and understandable to other students?

    E: Evaluate/examine/explore:

    • Evaluate your grades on tests and tasks
      look for a pattern
    • Examine your process
      toward improving it
