Religion uses money to continue God's work and the workers, maoy kamato-oran na naa sa old testament that's why God commanded the Israelite to give tithe, because the tithes are for the workers, the same should for today! Basta sakto pagka gamit sa kwarta, wala na blema bro.

I USED TO love to do foolish things. Jesus Christ saved me from that destructive habit.
I am also responsible for my own actions (the gift of free will) but I know and believe that I cannot save myself from the wrath of Sin. Jesus Christ loves me THAT MUCH to rescue me. And it is not an imaginary god which I depend on. He is a LIVING GOD. He lives in me by the power of the Holy Spirit.

i would like to indulge w/ you sis kasi respectfull yung pagkasulat mo..now heres my take-

The concept that "Jesus christ saved you" is not your first hand experiential reality.
It was a concept by "someone else" handed down from generation to generation, & the storey goes that jesus came from heaven, sent to die, crucified to atone our original sin.
thats practically the short of it...& regarding the storey well we have the option to believe or not,

but our believing & non believing does not bring forth the veracity of its storey, as to whether its historical or allegorical or maybe a combination,,thats how objective one can be about "stories"

Now as to your personal "High experience" due to your belief in jesus & the rest of the storey is very valid, not because the storey is true or not but because our mind has the capacity to manifest certain experiential & very tactile soothing experience when our belief is so strong.

Psychologically speaking evry single thought has a corresponding bodily manifestation.
thats the science behind faith healing, its not because of god that you were able to get the request but its because of your "believing" that sent forth energies to cause effects.

this has been proven in many of our cancer patients, we introduce a certain concept including emotional investment for a so called better outlook & we have substantial positive results.

When it comes to auto suggestion whether the vehicle is religion or "false tambal" yes for me its placebo,,,& w/ this knowledge one may use faith for personal healing or simple peace of mind.

Though im not saying po ha that their is no independent force that will cause to effect something, like proper diet, exercise, rest, good music & of course a positive belief system.

A positive outlook, a universal belief system will cause to create a strong immune system to the individual,,,precisely the reason why im against the concept of the church pessimistic subliminal indoctrination of its herd,,a fear based belief system will cause paranoia to its adherents.

but you are only looking at a singular perspective in attempting to explain the phenomenon, yes?
To look at the phenomenon of religion merely from the lens of some strain in Psychology, we totally ignore its other sides.

but anyways, if your idea is true, then it must follow that subliminal messages is not only emitted in religious structures but also other structures in society, other "ideological" apparatuses of the State, or other institutions of power: the jail, the asylum, etc...

ergo, following your idea, we will have to conclude that religion is merely one among many structures in society that goes hand-in-hand with other structures that creates power-relations, as you call, subliminal messaging. so at the end, it is not only religion that shapes its herd, but that is one among many structures that dominates human beings.
