    just keep your ht speed 2000 mhz max bai
    tapos go for the highest nb speed nga mapa stable nimo

    im running at 3.1ghz cpu speed, nb speed 2700 mhz, ht speed 2000 mhz

    rule of thumb: your HT link should and can never be higher than your NB Frequency, it can be the same but definitely not higher. it may not appear as whole number for the NB multiplier but the resulting frequency so just divide and you know what your multiplier is.

    it also doesn't make sense na gi overclock nimo ang CPU frequency but left the NB and HT link at their stock speeds, they'll become the weakest link as you crank up CPU frequency so if you can, keep them proportionate.

    thanks! ok. I'll keep my ht at that level (2000mhz) and never make it go higher to my NB Freq.. my bad my bad!. Bus wich gi-increase nako to 219 for the mean time. now i have these settings:

    Core speed: 2.4ghz
    Multi: 11
    Bus Speed: 219
    Ht link: 1971
    NB freq: 1971

    @masters
    checked my DRAM Frequency, from 400mhz siya, nahimo na siya 438mhz. So does that mean DRAM Freq. = Bus Speed x 2? right?. So ok rana siya? I'm using a Kingston 2gb ddr2 800 memory. 1 Stick ra. Unsa may ma advice ninyo about the DRAM Freq.?

    with AMD, once u increase clock speed, u increase everything. my suggestion is play first with the multiplier. ni-increase imong memory kay its is ang reference clock (200) ang imo gi-increase.

    EDIT: d man diay ka B.E. hehehe..

    if ure not B.E., u have to manually set also imong HT speed, northbridge speed to be able to compensate imong OC sa cpu. throttle down imong RAM speed to its normal speed, else, diri ka mahimong unstable especially if u are using non-OC-friendly modules. sa AMD, if u increase reference clock, u also increase automatically imong memory if u dont set it manually. i also need to get screenshot sa BIOS.

    thanks.

    problem solved na mga master.. will post lang a new thread when the real overclocking starts. trial2x pa ko para ma familiarize lang nako ang pag OC. thanks sa mga reply....

    MODS please close.

    no need to close bai, the thread needs healthy discussions for AMD overclock which is very rare to find in this forum.
