i think you got the logic false there. you wrongly assumed that City residents go out and look for some place coz provincianos are competing w/ them.

you also further wrongly assumed that the Province failed to give enough jobs to their constituents. The Province's job is not to provide jobs to the people. Capitol is not a job placement agency. It only provides opportunities for everybody. What will provide jobs is investments from business entities pouring their capital into Provinces, resulting to more economic activity and jobs. in fact, it has been going on already.

@giddyboy: seriously bai, for your sake and reputation, stop defending Gwen or the Garcias in general because even if you give the most detailed information about them and what they did for the province, di gyud mo tuo ang MAJORITY SA EDUCATED na mga tawo.

you wanna know why? because these educate and free-thinking individuals has seen through the flimsy masquerade of the Governor and simply cannot SEE or even FEEL what she did. in short, puro ra cosmetic pero wala'y substance.

you can probably continue your crusade to the MAJORITY of the unfortunate and lesser to almost non-educated constituents of the province.

the so called proof, documents, evidences, powerpoint presentation is nothing compared to public perception. public perception can even make and innocent man guilty. what more a governor who is already perceived to be guilty.

I think it's already pretty obvious to most thinking Istoryans that giddyboy is in some way connected to the Garcias. Why he insists on the charade of being a neutral party despite never failing to defend the Garcias in every single thread they are attacked, mystifies me. Perhaps it is simply a strategy of his so that people will be more sympathetic to his pithey defenses of them.

I also have to laugh at his "nobody can deny that they have done some good things." Like what? Even the most stupid mayors of the most insignificant towns in this insignificant country of ours has done "some good things" like build stupid waiting sheds with their names plastered all over them. I guess it goes to reason to expect that every person has his own standard as to what "some good things" means.
