So how do you deal with the likes of Rob Parsely and Pat Robertson?
1. Turn the TV off - their respective Christian broadcasts are nothing more than brainwashing programs.
2. Avoid attending their sermons/speeches - same reason as above.
3. Keep your religious beliefs very personal - never let the extremists manipulate your personal relationship with your god, even if they claimed that they had "communicated directly" with him.
4. Reject their manipulative claims of your nation's foundation - in one of the videos, Rob Parsely claimed that "America was founded in part with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed" as part of his attack on another religion. He claimed that as if he knew exactly what America's Founding Fathers did...but there is absolutely no truth to his claim. As a nation, America was founded with secular principles as well as with a separation of church and state, and, as a balancing effort, protection of religious freedom - and you can read all about it online or on history books.
Do your own research on your country's history and don't let these extremists manipulate you. It's no secret that some religious groups will do anything to conquer the world - and in this case deceive people into believing that nations were founded on their religious values and principles.
