i have just bought one from bass online. very cheap ra pag palit nako. about $21.99 instead of $75 pero april pa maabot dinhi. can't wait to use it.

Yup, boots are good for hiking. Strangely though (and this is just my opinion and experience with no scientific background whatsoever ) they're more suited for warm weather rather than cold or humid weather. They have to be light enough to enable one to carry them over great distances. Sturdy enough to give adequate protection from the terrian.

Come to think of it, yeah boots were designed primarily for the terrian but the covering has to be environment specific, that's why winter boots have wool, Military boots (Jungle Combat issue) have nylon, and the more recent hiking boots have a mix of nylon, some cotton and leather, either real or synthetic.

Sigh, letting the feet breath would require a relation between the type of socks and boots, but that would be another story.

i've got DAKOTA boots...it cost me a fair bit but it's the most comfy boots i've had
