All PSU's can be interchangeable into higher wattage. Using higher wattage would be big advantage for system performances. So its possible. I hope I answered you question.

I read about old dell cases not using standard size power supplies.
Best to check ur psu size or just bring ur case to the store then ipa fit para sure.
