It doesn't matter what language you speak, to be able to speak a good English it would take a lot of listening, a lot of reading, a lot of learning. I have heard a lot of Cebuano's speak good English but some has flaws, i mean, we all are. We cant blame ourselves, learning this foreign language is a long process. If we will compare ourselves with our Manila counterpart, i guess we are all the same. But we need to be proud of ourselves too, We Filipinos are better English speakers than the English themselves, as they say. We are the only nationality who can fake the American accent...But everything boils down to how we learn this language, and to get to where we want to achieve, lets face it, We need good English teachers too.

haha .. you should listen to the "natives" of parananque when they do the "comedia" bro .. hehe .. mura sad na ug sa cebu: ang cebuano sa ciudad di pareho ug accent o twang sa dalaguete, western side, or mindanaons or negros .. sus, it takes only a little bit of listening to figure out the difference ..

that's good bro. suggestion: go to the palengke of la huerta, parananque. it's fun hearing these people speak tagalog musically .. or *****g, rizal, but even binangonan, rizal is already fun to listen ..

in my call center days, one of the complaints during a call back is that
"they don't understand the OTHER GUY..."
    of course we apologize...
and when we look at the previous call, 'twas routed in Manila and answered by one of our Manila counterparts. mostly around 90%.
there is very little or no complaint about english on cebu reps, only technicalities.

what do we have? a more or less irate caller!
