What can u say 'bout this singer/songwriter?

He became famous now due to Grey's anatomy and even have his song Breathe In Breathe Out on one of Grey's CD soundtrack available on Astru Plus and SM.

Some would say he sounds like a cross between The Fray and Coldplay and i do agree especially when his new album, City of Black and White, is in context.

But once upon a time he wasn't like Coldfrays. He was more like A Tribe Called Quest...

from the first time I heard his Breathe In Breathe Out, I downloaded this song right away... can't help but compare him to the fray since the band also was featured in the series and being an addict to that show, i can sense a certain style to their OST featured artists... anyway, love the lyrics and voice meshed into one great melody... never fails as my last song syndrome

yah... its a little surprising to know that he was once a rapper. His first major album, Bullet, sounds like a mix between Everlast and Coldplay but his previous independent EPs like Revive Us EP really sounded like 90s hiphop music..

Nothing Left To Lose, his second album contains some songs from Bullets and some new non-rap songs....

Of all the rappers i know who are now singing (Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock, Kanye West? ), Mat is probably the best of them all. Atleast he doesn't use an auto-tune.

Speaking of Uncle Kracker, his new song Smile is now out. Payter pod murag The Fray hahahaha Seems like everybody wanna be a piano-rocker nowadays..

all i can say is nice pag ka produce sa iya albums
his music has a rocky edge, but its easy to listen.
