Bro, wala kaayo ko kasabot sa imong question. Ug Linux para sa laptop okay kaayo na siya bro. 5 na ka laptops ako gi -installan ug Ubuntu (distribution sa Linux), wala ju'y mintis.

Ug licensing, most Linux distributions (distros) are free as free nga walay bayad ug free ka pag-usab sa iyang source code. Pwede pa gani ka maghimo ug imong kaugalingong distro.

For beginners, nindot ang Ubuntu kay user-friendly kaayo (as most Linuxes are). It's downloadable from Download Ubuntu | Ubuntu or pwede ka magrequest of free CD from https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ . Ang problema sa Ubuntu kay wala pa ang mga codecs nga gikinahanglan aron pagplay sa mga multimedia files- although sayon ra pod kaayo ang pag install basta naa kay internet connection.

Easier still is Linux Mint- another distro that is based on Ubuntu. Completo na ni sa multimedia codecs.

Pwede man brad.... pero depende sad sa laptop... make sure nga ok ang drivers for particular distro...

Try lng Ubuntu nga distro.. mas sayun2x.. and mas daghan ang nag gamit...

Or e search imo Laptop model if mka support ba ug particular nga Linux distro,.

remember if sa drivers, you can connect sa net to download the needed driver on ubuntun. Assuming your wifi card was recognized during install, if wala paet sa life.

kana dili ko sure ka ang akua desktop version man sa mga laptopy they use the ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix.

Try installing linux live (install sa ram and not sa hdd) if you really want to test you can even install ubuntu on windows and remove it from windows like any program under the uninstaller. Wubi is found on the cd of ubuntu 9.04

no need for the drivers to download usahay depende sa videocard nga gigamit pero nvidia is well supported sa linux/ubuntu..try the live cd first tapos check ang mga basic functions kung unsa nga mga mogana og dili..

unsa gani na fingerprint bro? classify daw para mapangitaan nato workaround kung dili supported... kung wine ka magerror basin naa ka wala gi-add sa repo.....like keys or whatever
