ANyways , the US raised hell when Bill Clinton spent $200 on a haircut ? Sure ka ? You are maybe referring to his CRITICS and please dont use inclined the country to represent the few .
And what's your basis for believing every single thing the mouthpiece of PGMA says? Is it your gullibility and naivette? I think so.

The $200 haircut thing is widely known, I was studying in the States at the time the furour occurred. I suggest you do some research on it. I can hardly be bothered to google a link when you can easily do it yourself.

That is your opinion and it is not a fact . SImple as that . Maybe taas ka ug standards lol .

    - How many foreigner's said Philippines is a DIRT POOR COUNTRY RUNNED BY IDIOTS ?
    - Where did you get your FACTS that a LARGE PERCENTAGE of Filipino's dont even eat 3X a day ? heck I eat only twice a day .
I have high standards, and you have very low standards, that's obvious. I have high expectations of our leaders because I want our country to succeed and stop being the laughing stock of Asia. Those facts are there for you to research on, are you really contesting the fact that a lot of Filipinos don't eat 3x a day? What planet are you living on? Seriously, your jaded eyes amaze me.

The deluded do not know the suffering which they have experienced.

Wrong analogy . Heck I believed its not even part of her plan for the trip . She was invited as a guest . That is the obvious and its a fact dili niom madawat because you insisted that all reported was the opposite . You are only looking the small picture . Do you want to know the bigger picture ? Just say so .
You don't even have any evidence that this is all it really is except for what Cerge Remonde says, but you take that as a fact, so your bias is rather telling.

Nobody is asking if you do business here , all I need was a YES or NO answer from you since you can relate to being an OFW . You being outside of the country has no relevance at all to know if its DIRT POOR or not .
I will answer the questino the way I see fit, not the way you like specifically. The only thing of importance is that the question was answered. My being a businessman does lend some more credence to my opinion, because the people who do business here are the ones who are constantly exposed to the villany of our sick-minded government.

Why doesn't my overseas life experience have relevance? Ngano, nasuya ka? At least a point of personal reference as to which countries are rich, which are middle income and which are dirt poor. To my knowledge you are the first person I have heard try to argue on the point that our country is dirt poor. What to you is dirt poor then, a country like Bangladesh? Does any country at all even qualify as dirt poor to you? Shocking... Even Saigon is now a better run city than Manila, and Vietnam has only recently emerged from totalitarian communism. Vietnam as a whole is a country that will overtake us in short order, just like all the other countries that have overtaken us, have.

Our country is dirt poor because it just is. You can do some research on your own if you want, look at the statistical data and try and pinpoint where our country falls within the social order of countries. No matter how you look at it, from an absolute standpoint or from a relative one, our country is dirt poor. Why are we even arguing about this, it's just stupid...! Maybe you should step out of your City Lights condo for once in your life or something...

Philippines is still developing so there's no telling what might happen in the future....

It's just a matter of wise decision making and proper timing for grabbing advantages....

Like now, Two world powers are offering us aid, it's just up to the leader how to take advantage of it wisely to lift us from poverty.....

Another problem that is threatening is the FAST and continuous growth of population, if only the Government is not being a puppy of the church........

Some parts of Africa are ravaged with disease and famine still their country exist, IMHO The account on the news is way too exaggerated, an understatement of our capabilities as Filipinos, May these serve as a challenge to us to be more particular towards the welfare of our country.

Nope, we'll be better if we were Federalized because we'll be more empowered on the LGU's and we'll develop faster.

The thing that's gonna make this real is the fact that there is the continuous warming of the earth. Decades from now, the Philippines especially some parts of NCR will be wiped from the world map and will be buried underwater. Extreme weather will disable our food developing capability. Decades from now, the Philippines and all those in the equator will become barren wastelands. This prediction of the Philippines being gone by 100 years is very true and will inevitably happen while Global Warming continues............. katakot naman.....
