Abortion is wrong, it promotes promiscuity, irresponsibility and most of all imagine yourself to be the child inside the womb, struggling helplessly against abortion instruments. Picture it and if your conscience dictates you well, you should know the right thing to do.
Why kill an infant inside the womb? Kill all the corrupt public officials for causing us far more worse suffering than the population boom!
there is no point in legalizing abortion....murder man ghapon na oi...buhi na gud ng bata sa tiyan...unya patyon....nya ilegalize pa nila...consintidor jd...saon..legal o di..mgpa abort jd ng mga babayi dha nga nag tuga tuga ug enter unya dili d.i andam....easy way out rmn intawon ng abortion....hayy..naunsa nmn tawon ang world....
hala makagaba ra ba ni ing.ani.. luoy kaayo ang mga fetus
sakto! do not change the law on abortion! keep it illegal pa rin!
You are DECEPTIVELY avoiding the issue.
The contentious part is the COERCIVE and MANDATORY nature of the proposed s3x education. You have NOT been able to justify why the government should FORCE parents to make their kids a government-designed contraceptive-based s3x education. And you have not been able to justify why the government should FORCE religious schools to teach things that contradict their own beliefs.
But it is obvious why you are avoiding this issue: you don't have any justifications at all. You only want to FORCE people to conform to your own beliefs. That only goes to show how little support your RH side has. if they really had support, you would not have to force anyone at all!
It is preceisly these so-called "guiding principles" that are unconstitutional. There is no justificatuion for forcing parents to make their kids attend one mandatory s3x education program. PARENTS SHOULD HAVE THRE RIGHT TO CHOOSE!again, the RH Bill only gives guiding principles.
There is also no justification to FORCE schools to teach beliefs that contradict their own religious beliefs. RELIGIOUS AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM OF SCHOOLS SHOULD BE RESPECTED.
The anti-life RH Bill fails in these two respects miserably.
You are quite a LIAR. The bishop NEVER condoned a single, MANDATORY program. He just said the right kind of s3x education is okay, which is a statement no one disagrees with.He said he will have no reservations with *** education in the academe. that means he likes that idea that all schools will have s3x ed, a mandatory s3x ed, but on certain conditions.
^^^@manny: I don't have to argue w/ you anymore. Let's face it: We both are situated in different parts of the spectrum. Let's just respect each other's opinion. if you don't respect mine, I don't care. mura ratag galalis anig relihiyon, di gyud mag abot. and bsan unsaon pa nato diri, the fate of the RH Bill now rests in the hands of the legislators and PGMA, and not the church.
you are very much convinced that your twisted vocals here can somehow convince and influence people to your way of thinking. well, tingni!

Philippines: Reproductive Health Bill marks break from Catholic Church
Updated on:Monday, Mar 16, 2009
A Reproductive Health (RH) Bill that is reaching Philippine’s House floor for debate is a significant step in the fight against poverty and for women’s rights and health, and is the furthest that any draft legislation addressing reproductive health has reached in the predominantly Catholic country.
The measure aims to provide government-funded family planning, contraceptives, and *** education. Its passage is not certain; the bill has to pass both Houses, then to the desk of President Macapagal-Arroyo to be signed into law. President Macapagal-Arroyo has publicly toed the church’s line on ‘natural’ family planning.
The bill received support from a surprising quarter last fall: 69 professors at the prestigious Roman Catholic Ateneo de Manila University broke with their own church to sign an unusual open letter backing the legislation.
In an interview in December, two of the professors said the bill would put the Philippines in line with other predominantly Roman Catholic countries, including Italy, Ireland, and Mexico.
"We're the last Catholic country that hasn't allowed contraceptives and family planning of all kinds, systematically," said Mary Racelis, who is in the department of sociology and anthropology.
"What's happening in our country is that women go for abortions because they don't have access to forms of contraception," added Marita Castro Guevara, from the department of interdisciplinary studies.
The bill's proponents cite data showing that as many as 500,000 women have induced abortions in the Philippines each year, with some 80,000 going to the hospital due to complications. They say the bill would reduce abortions by providing better access to family planning resources...
