Good pair?...all i know is that...if the mobo is set for amd processors, then it should be good for AMD proc...and if the Mobo is set for Intel processors, then it should be good for it also. Heck, there would be no sense putting a Intel Processor in a Redfox AM2 Socket mobo, IMHO... I think the motherboard-processor set all depends on compatibility and the owner's preference for his desired tasks.

With regards to the on-board video...yup, most on-board video has 256mb nowadays..sometimes even 512mb (maximum). But do take note, memory isn't everything when you're measuring the GPU's strength and capabilities...a 128mb 7300gt ddr3 could easily swoop off any on-board video even with its low memory..
