Ang proseso sa reincarnation is like "putting on a new clothes", & the process of death is like "taking off old clothes".
Highly evolve beings upon physical death, will with ease shed off astral & lower mental bodies, thereby proceeding to what the east called "Devachan" state of consciousness or heaven like existence. The period of "rest" before rebirth.
And consequently the process of releasing the soul (death of the vehicle), its rest & re-entry(reincarnation) will be quicker.

average man will linger for a longtime in the astral plane & lower mental plane, due to its identification with its vestures. And there are a lot of average humanity whose identity is anchored w/ its vehicle. And because of this the time interval between incarnation is longer.

I believe we have more enlighten individuals nowadays, not maybe the caliber of Pythagoras or buddha but enough to quicken the act of rebirth w/c may possibly be the cause of the seeming overpopulation.

Ate parang my levels din yung highly evolve beings, my inititiations sila to qualify an aspirant of his growth..im not sure kung anung level ng initiation ang my ability to recall ones past life.
average "man" di daw talaga maka recall his past life, it ws intended daw to avoid nervous breakdown, kasi yung nervous system is so delicate daw, even present hurts, traumas if dili makayanan emotionally it might trigger to insanity, how much more hundreds of lifetimes of hurts na ma open din sa ating pakiki-usisa sa past.

nature knows whats best for us, so yung whatever past talents or stupidities will be reflected in our personality as "tendencies"

ate take for example si Mamang Pien, galing to ng animal kingdom, at nag graduate na at nag reincarnate as Human, good for him but like any "bagohan" his capacity to think is still very much impaired, yung remnants nya of his animalistic instincts is still very pronounced, klaro pa rin yung traces of bruteness & idiocity reflected in his tendency to misconstrue the word in the bible as the real thing, but for a bagohan to know how to read, ok na yan ha,,kaya lang almost not human pa rin,,,
