atik ra ning pres
A little OT...
Got inspiration from Tarmac's post about the Super Tucano. So, I managed to squeeze in something I haven't done in ages...aircraft repaints for Flight Simulator...
So here's what a Tucano would look like in Philippine Air Force colors!
Will post a video in the Flightsimming section of the hobby subforums soon.

da best!
If only gi gamit lang ang money to develop the country.. sigh..
di man gani kabuhat og kaugalingon choppers.. ..
We don't need the Longbow radar anyway (it has been deactivated on some Ah-64Ds serving in Iraq and Afghanistan).
@Rodsky
Nice repaint. A Super Tucano in the PAF inventory looks to be a long shot though.
The nice thing about the Imminent Fury Super Tucano is it has the capability to use precision guided munitions. Warheads on foreheads, they like to say. That's more bang for the buck. In taking out a target, one Tucano can do what might require a half-dozen OV-10s or SF260TPs with iron bombs and rockets.
The inevitable follow-up question would then be, Can we afford precision munitions in the first place?
bitaw kumbate ra na!, $9 million each and design and suited to the Amazon region (high temperature, moisture, and precipitation; low threat) or the military can buy M1A2 Abrams costing $4.35 million (one of the meanest tanks of the world)
for me, mas maau ug superior ta sa sky ug land kay mas pabor ta. hehehe.. taking for example naa tay cobra/apache/tucano, paksit jud ang ASG, ug other rebels then upgrade tas ato camps ang equipments.
hinoon, ang Bell AH-1G HueyCobra mas cheaper gamay kaysa apache, ang cost is US$11.3 million compared sa AH-64D Apache costing US$18 million.
