aw mao siguro na iya clocks kung 2D mode sis, mao ubos. kasagaran graphics card kay motaas ang clock kung mag 3D mode. try running FurMark then tan-awa balik ang GPU-z. naka update na ang mga drivers ana nga card?

run latest drivers ana sa sis update sa latest and use latest software to detect proper speeds niya.
maski wala ko mag 3d ang exact reading man gihapon mogawas sa gpu speed nako
or maybe naka set gyud ka nga if idle mo reduce ang gpu sa iyaha speed
just like sa processor bitaw if naka enable ang energy saving functions niya
im using the latest driver build though

pero dili jud pwede na mo underclock cya.
either rajud na sa driver lang e update.!
pero if mao ang naka set. pwede nko e balik sa iyang default.! and dili cya ma guba?

i guess this is not the case with all cards, nga ang default clock mao ang gpu clock if idle ang card. with my hd 4770, ang default clock niya is 750MHz but if idle mag 220MHz man.
naa man GPUs nga naa energy saving functions (dmelsie's post), automatic siya mag underclock if idle. if wala ka nag overclock sis and wala ka nag underclock, in other words, kung wala kay gihilabtan sa settings sa imo gpu using rivatuner or the gpu's own (overclocking) software then normal ra na iya clocks mag-ing-ana, nga murag ubos kaayo kung idle. just download the latest driver sa imong card and read the release notes (usually naa na sa page kauban sa download link sa driver).

yup, 2d mode, like the one posted in post #13,

aw lahi man pud ang 2D mode and ang energy saving mode sa mga gpu siguro, with ATI's case:
ATI PowerPlay™ Technology
* Advanced power management technology for optimal performance and power savings
* Performance-on-Demand
o Constantly monitors GPU activity, dynamically adjusting clocks and voltage based on user scenario
o Clock and memory speed throttling
o Voltage switching
o Dynamic clock gating
o Central thermal management – on-chip sensor monitors GPU temperature and triggers thermal actions as required

it sure looks like it and given that this is an nvidia card nga mao naka perfect (no pun intended to the red team) ani nga setting, mao jud siguro ni. i'm not too good with graphics cards.![]()
