outlook express error 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC67..pls help me..

im using outlook express for my pldtdsl email and last week, it suddenly would give that error when i tried to send and receive email. i thought it was the service provider problem but they called this afternoon and we tried to change the configs and stuff but it came out that their system didnt have a problem and it seemed like it was in the outlook express.

i tried to check my mail using the laptop with the exact same settings and voila... i was able to send and receive mail.

im really stumped with what to do.. how can i install/reinstall/repair outlook express guys? the comp is an hp and it didnt come with an OS cd but with 2 recovery disks lang. i tried looking inside but murag wla may any prog resembling an OS. naay software recovery option ning computera but wla pa nko gi try coz it seems very complicated...

help help..pls anyone help

It looks like most of you were able to resolve the 0x800CCC67 issue which is good. When I hit this thread looking for information, I noticed that no information was provided on how you fixed it because it looks like you got help via PM for some reason? I had this same error with a client of the company I work for. Usually these e-mail errors are no problem at all to resolve, but I had to do quite a bit of research to resolve it for him. I wrote down my troubleshooting process and other details that I found all over the and compiled them into a single step by step guide that can easily be followed in my blog/knowledge base. Everything that takes me some time to fix for the most part, I write about and share with others and also save myself some trouble if I come across the same thing again. If anyone has any questions or something to add, you can post a comment on the article or reply to this thread.
