well on my part the US government have always had their intentions of intervening......
during the early years ... they were always there....
with regards to their intervention i guess the government is gaining much rather than losing during this military exercises hence US personnels will be roaming around the cities spending and besides we earn and that is why the government is allowing such...
it is such a good way but the lies beneath it are really not seen......

The benefits gained from Balikatan exercises go WAY beyond what the US soldiers might spend while "roaming around the cities". You're thinking like a street vendor selling souvenirs during Sinulog. If you are referring to BALIKATAN , its not about WAR . Much more is not about INTERVENTION as what Vince Russo already explained . It also helps the AFP to be more functional and effective during peace and peacekeeping moments thru HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS . Originally Posted by davanitz
