Hi Josephdc,
According to the eastern concept, we are all interconnected, not only between human beings, but practically all the entities in the universe, visible or invisible to our eyes, we are like swimming the same ocean of life & thus we are part & parcel of the one big whole.
Hence whatever we do naturally affects the other whether intentional or unintentional.
The quality of our consciousness greatly affects those near to our proximity, & to this effect we are having interventions whether solicited or unsolicited.
Therefore a wise person who patronize this idea will subject himself to a greater degree of AWARENESS of his actions specially at the thought level, since he knows that karma works unerringly to whatever we put forth.
Karma echos back to us what we do mentaly, emotionaly & physically.
Our individual karma will have their own time to ripe, so if we interfere or being interfered in the process it may only delay its fruition or hasten it.

Yes your views can be seen that way.
Although Karma is not "gaba" its Cause & effect, action/reaction.
There are 3 kinds of karma
1. instant karma
2. unripe karma
3. ripe karma
the so called injustice that we observe evryday in our life has its own time of "balancing"
reason why reincarnation is closely connected w/ karma.
Reincarnation fulfills whatever merit or demerit we have done whether in the previous life, in this life or some future lives.
sorry if nigamit ko og term na "gaba", sakto ka flying fish na ang karma is cause/effect, action/reaction...
pero dili bana unfair sa imo part at your present time na gidimalas, dili suwerte, unlucky or full of misery etc.
tungod kay igo lang nagdawat sa effect/reaction sa imong previous life...
unya wala raba jud kay memory/idea unsa ka sa imong previous life.
how can i as a normal person correct this situation??
at first glance it appears to be unfair, on the other hand its perfect justice, we punish & reward ourselves.
Our present situation indicates the kind of "seed action" we are partaking in the previous life, hence to know the cause of the effects doesnt really have to follow that we will be "victorious" in our choice of situation. If we have the ability or the openness to welcome the good things in life that happen to us might as well be discerning to the lessons that is being carried w/ the so called malas/misery in life.
Learning & growth is more on bitter experiences in life, just like creating muscles its constant subject to physical pain that will produce the muscle, not in pleasurable sensation.
My suggestion is to do good things for its virtue sake, because its the right thing to do. & not because of some future "good karma",
Doing good things is in itself a reward already.
Try doing good things in the absence of some personal gain,, you will notice happiness is just a consequence,,,no longer an end or a reward.
Focus in the here & now,,, for the future is but an exaggeration of your here & now.
Salamat sa reply flying fish... i think i need to meditate and look deeper to my situation.
very nice explanation..
sometimes, its so difficult to view karma and reincarnation in our "reward/punishment" perspective of things.. we need to go beyond the reward/punishment system, and just do things for the good in it, and not because of some want of reward or fear of punishment. when we look at the big picture, its all about our actions and its consequences based on the laws of the universe.. not just physical laws, but also laws in the other dimensions.. a simple law is "a man who kills by the sword, shall die by the sword".. the sword here is not necessarily the physical metallic sharp tool we use, but it could be a pen (ala rizal)or the tongue.. mmmm swordly tongue.. hehe..
okay, murag wa na sense.. mas maau ma imo explanation, so until here na lng..![]()

kanang na himugso tapus namatay dayun. unsay explaination sa reincarnation ana?
