Now the question: Currently ours is a country of maids, do we want to turn it into a country of prostitutes? Indeed, hyperwage theory is crazy and scary.
Under hyperwage, a blow j*b will cost P1,000.

    Default The concept of Hyperwage

    The concept of Hyperwage
by: Kendrick Chua, The Wealth Warrior

The word may be alien to most of us. We are after all more familiar with the term minimum wage-the least compensation that a worker should take home. Hyperwage however is different. It is giving the employees much more than their current income.
Susan Bigay, one of our lecturers in the Tax Planning class in the 14th RFP Course shared to us this concept. To grasp the idea better, she shared to us the story of her dermatologist friend.
Now her dermatologist friend has a clinic in one of the malls in Metro Manila and is earning rather high-only Ps. 300,000.00 per day (yes, per day). That translates to Ps. 9M a month of sales and when we deduct the operating expenses, it still gives her 80% profit or Ps. 7.2M. For some, this is already a whole life savings. For the others, this figure is only a dream.
To say that she is quite successful in her career is an understatement and that is why it upset her when one of her trusted staff stole 3 days worth of sales from her clinic. This staff has been with her for the past 5 years and yet she did what the doctor thought was impossible.
When probed, Ms. Bigay discovered that the staff only has a salary of Ps. 10,000.00 and that she has the highest salary in her workforce of five. It is not a wonder that it happened, Ms. Bigay narrated to us.
Then she proposed to her friend of raising the staffs’ income to Ps. 20,000.00, a dramatic increase from their current salary. Of course the proposal was met with reluctance but eventually, her friend gave in. The increase would just add another 2% on her expenses-something she certainly can forgo.
Couple of weeks later, when she asked how the experiment was doing, her friend was amazed over the turn of events. Her employees started coming to work ten minutes earlier, are more cheerful (who wouldn’t when you salary has been doubled) and has improved their English proficiency through the seminars they have attended.
There is in fact, an improvement in the staffs’ lifestyle. Like all of us, they do aspire for more than just food, clothing and shelter but how can they achieve those aspirations if the basic necessities can’t even be met? Remember Maslow’s hierarchy of needs?
Hyperwage is about empowering the people. What good is a commendation and a pat in the back when they are only earning minimum wage? Surely, if there is really surplus, it would be deemed benevolent to distribute the income to the people.
And this was what she shared next.
Another friend of hers runs a successful business. Knowing that her friend is wealthy, she asked why he only had two houses. He revealed that in his company, all his VPs and managers have their own homes and these are not your Gawad Kalingan houses. Turns out part of the profits of the company are given to the staffs for them to buy or build their own homes. He is targeting that even the rank-and-file workers can possess their own homes through this scheme.
Upon hearing these two stories, all of us in the class are really inspired. Being financial planners and entrepreneurs and employers in the future, we should take it upon ourselves to also consider the benefits of our respective staffs. If there is much surplus, why not share it with them?
We all hope to move this country forward and this is one of the ways to do so.

MIYAKO73- you call the author of the hyperwage as *****. He is a respected columnist in Business World (and I bet you haven't read it- it is a business paper unfit to your bad taste), a king of engineer, a proclaimed genius by people who knew him, a consultant to a lot of think-tanks. How about you? If you call that a *****, then that makes you a low-life *****. How is that?

Do you know what will happen next? The maid will turn tricks. Maybe one hundred bucks for a blow job. Even prostitutes will suffer, and unfortunately they can't complain. Their line of work is not protected by the national wage law or the law on illegal servitude.

Is that how lowly you look at maids? Are they so desperate that they will give you such services? Or its you who are so desperate that you turn to maids for for bl*w jobs? Atsay killer diay ka bay. How pathetic.
