And the words "in the end shall gather you unto Himself" could very well mean the attainment of moksha (release) rather than an eternal life in heaven or hell. Those who disagree, however, contend that "dead" is very commonly used for non-living things. "It does not necessarily mean that you were alive before being a non-living thing or dead." Sir malic,
Does Islam also believe in reincarnation?

As far as the Sunni sect is concern reincarnation is not advocated in Islam.

But let me share this to you sir...When I joined Theosophy and you read about how the mind can play trick on us by giving us almost automatically the programmed interpretation of the visions outside perceived by the eye, things started to changed, you now see things as just forms and concepts. Hence truth as our pre-conditioned mind sees it are all but illusions.

    Thanks Sir Malik,
Yes and I'm still venturing out seeking for that truth, sometimes there are concepts are bended by contrive ideas transforming it to hide the true meaning, but still we have our own logic to guide us and hopefully steer us to the right path towards truth.

correct sir. I heard this from someone, a fellow seeker too. He said that we need to adopt a balanced procedure in our search. Meaning, all our life we were taught to see and solve things with our eyes open and demand the logical brain to give the answer, according to him its about time that we look inside, closed our eyes and tapped the other part of our brain.

thats why there is a god dillusion, so as sin, hell , purgatory etch.,,,

    Karma

    - this is a better representation of sin , this also applies the golden rule. dont do unto other's so others wont do unto u. lets say u steal , sooner or later one of ur valuables would also be lost.
u've hurt someone , someday someone will hurt u too.
lets take hitler, he's karma after killing alot of people could be, the lost of respect to him and to his country. he's dead body was burnt with gasoline. so as his followers is paying the karmaic debt, includes the name of germany.
thats one of the many reason why there are many people who are unconciously paying their karmaic debt, thats why there are suffering.

    Reincarnation

    - my understanding on this, is only in a scientif way. when a person die the energy on his body goes on to plant next to it in the cementery . so as the carbon nitrogen in our body.

and we are constantly exchanging this elements with the trees and animals. so our composition is not the same as 6mos. ago,. and everything around is matter and energy exchanging ith each other with plants animals and insects.
