when i was a kid, i remember my parents raise quails. sell fresh eggs and quail balut.
we use incubator to get the chicks. but before we got thousands of quails we sell the baluts to neighbors.
it was a hit for those who would not eat the usual balut.
as what i i can remember, if female quails reach maturity and are feed laying mash they would not stop laying eggs.
anyway, quail raising/production is a good biz.
