I don't think they did it purposely. Naay jud food nga dali ra mapan-os bisan dili pa pan-os ang lasa. The culprit was "PALABOK".

those people nga na admit sa hospital had diarrhea. since halos gadungan man sila tanan, mao na ang media ni conclude nga food poisoning dayon. actually sa akong opinion, lain kaayo paminawon ang term nga food poisoning kai mura ba'g gituyo og hilo ang mga tao nga nabiktima. it may give Majestic a bad reputation but the news itself ba kung padak-on og maayo ang istorya sa mga tao og media, makadaot dili lang sa kadtong caterer hasta pud unya sa lain caterers sa cebu...

" nakakatakot kumain dun sa cebu, baka malason pa tayo!"..... oh noes!!!

dapat di na ni padak-on istoryaa kai dili man jud angay padak-on.

kung unsay kaso i-pataw sa Majestic, ila na nang problema.

Of course they didn't do it on purpose!... Unless the business wanted to commit suicide

If I'm basing my opinions on this...and if Palabok gyud ang cause then it's really Majestic Catering's fault. If they were a competent food catering business they should know that Palabok spoils easily therefore they should not have allowed it to be included in the lunch packs. Clearly... naa gyuy nag binugo ani. Whether gituyo or not isnt the issue here. It's incompetence and lack of food safety guidelines. Either way... this should be treated as an opportunity to improve on and an experience to learn from.

Ang palabok bisan presko pa na kung hugaw pagka prep is CONTAMINATED gihapon . On the otherhand regarding MAJESTIC CATERING , they are in the FOOD BUSINESS for more or less 20 or so years . They dont want that to FOOD POSION clients specially connected to a very IMPORTANT EVENT .

They are liable for the actions . They should beinvestigated and license revoked till they pass and clearedf from all inspeactions and trainings in FOOD HANDLING . Then business as usual .

Wala mo nakabantay na murag walay INCIDENT or SENSATIONALIZED na FOOD POISONING nahitabo sa LARSIAN na we all know Larsian is not the cleanest place to eat ? Because even though we know the place is DIRTY because of the environment , the food are not CONTAMINATED because it is fresh off the grill . There are no bacterias BREEDING . Bacterias dont breed on any food with temperature over 160 degrees unless you want to eat RAW or UNDERCOOKED foods .

Food poisoning, either intentional or not. the question is does anybody affected reported the incident and filed a case against the caterers?

Known caterers here in Cebu sometimes makes mistakes, but not to the extent that even on an event that is very important and leaves some impression on the investors. They might have given the investors an impression that, its not safe to invest here in Cebu 'coz even on the food that was served to fill our stomachs, are even spoiled and unsafe. Well not generally but still it is one possibility also.

Either way, this incident is not favorable to us Cebuanos.
