ok ra man na sila mag iningles, whether it's to impress others of their english speaking skill or otherwise. it's their business. it's an opportunity for u to learn english as well if u think u need to hone ur english.

kung moingon mo nga 'para aron ingnon sila nagtrabaho ug call center' leave them alone. why? what's in a call center? what's so glamorous about a job in a call center? di lang ta mo comment further para di ta maka offend sa mga call center workers diri. pero there's nothing glamorous in a call center job i tell u. huna-hunaa ra gud na ilang trabaho. telephone operator na sila. they make and receive calls from different clients of all sorts of personalities from different cultures around the world. usahay, balikason pa na sila kay either di sila kamao mo tubag o di siya kasabot sa problema sa client. at the end of the day, one agent wud grumble about clients nga mga way batasan, mga uneducated, etc. etc.

nalayo naman noon ko. sorry. but for me, ayaw na lang ka irita ana nila kay they are the way they are. opportunity sad na nimo nga makadungog sa ilang english sama niini: SIR, WUD U FLEASE MOB A LITIL, IT'S BERI TAYT HIR or u might also join them in conversation by letting out ur own english like MISS, FLEASE FASS MY PARE TO THE DRYBER.

its really none of your business if they talk in english or not.

if mag english man gani, be sure nlng sad na ensakto ug grammar aron di masawayan sa ubang taw nga himantayon dha sa daplin (pareho sa ubang taw diri sa thread). i think it only becomes wrong if you're only showing off to people who obviously dont speak the language - like side walk vendors, jeepney drivers and the like. if you're talking to your co- workers or friends who does speak the language, that's perfectly fine.

for some people, they can better explain their selves in english than in the vernacular. some of them are actually trained to speak english in their own households by their parents. why should it be a big deal to you? even if we are filipinos, cebuanos at that, it doesnt necessarily mean that we are more fluent in cebuano than in english. it could be the other way around for some people. why judge?
